What's unique about me?

WHY CHOOSE ME TO TAKE YOUR HEADSHOTS?
I work from my boutique studio in Brisbane. I have a disarming personality and, I'm really down-to-earth.  I'm a bit old-fashioned and more than anything, I'm most interested in making sure we get the right shot instead of checking that we finished the photoshoot on time! For me, it's a one-on-one situation where the real focus of the day is collaboration between you and me.

Now, more than ever, your online image is crucial. You don't want to look like you're trying too hard, but you need to look serious about your future. It's about getting the balance right. It's important that you feel comfortable that your photo is a true representation of the real you.

MY STUDIO
We can work indoors (in the air-conditioning), or we can create a more natural backdrop by heading across the road from my studio (bushland!). I work with both natural light and studio lights to give you a selection of differently lit images. 

MY APPROACH
I've been photographing people since 1995, and so I am proficient technically, but it's my caring nature that will help you to reveal your inner self to create authentic photographs of the real you. Don't be concerned if this is your first photoshoot either! You might have a hundred questions about your photoshoot. Don't worry, I'll send you lots of information to help you to prepare!

MY STYLE
There's no denying that my photographs are honest, with an organic depth to the images. I work with colour tones and I place lights where they need to be to energise your photos and highlight your eyes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT MY HEADSHOT SESSIONS

All my clients receive a detailed preparation guide before their photoshoot.

ARE YOUR SESSIONS INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

I can do either and I can easily include both into your session time at no extra cost (we just walk outside if we want to go outdoors)

DO YOU USE NATURAL LIGHT OR STUDIO LIGHTS?

I use both! My goal is to give you up to three different lighting setups in your photoshoot session, depending upon which session duration you have selected.

DO YOU WORK ON WEEKENDS?

I do work on weekends ... there is an extra charge, at this point it is an extra $200 on top of your normal photoshoot package amount.

Just 15-20 minutes from the Brisbane CBD - right across the road from the beautiful forest around Walkabout Creek!
